Our old website was already a few years old and didn’t meet our requirements. After searching for a CMS for our website we’ve found WordPress which we already used for our old blog. We’ve replaced the old blog with our new blog: https://yourwebhoster.eu/blog/. We’ll remove our old blog later in 2013: if you need anything from our old blog it is now time to download the information you need:)
New VPS services
We’re not only introducing our new website but also our new VPS services: KVM VPS for a small price. The existing VPS service was working on Xen ParaVirtualization but with KVM we can offer you full virtualization and more flexible solutions. For example you can use your own ISO and configure your own partition lay-outs. You can also encrypt your disks when you run the installation manually. Or you can just install your VPS with one click and after a few minutes your operating system is online. You can find our KVM VPS plans here.
Some people may know Xen: Xen also has a full virtualization feature and this is called Xen HVM. Our experience is that KVM is more stable and faster than Xen HVM.
New Reseller VPS
We also have a total new service: reseller VPS. You can sell VPSes to your clients with your own specifications. You just buy a package of resources and split them up in the VPSes with the specifications that you want to sell. Or you can the reseller service when you’ve got many VPSes for yourself. Click here for more information about our reseller VPS service.
Existing VPS service
Our existing VPS service will continue with the Xen technique. Our existing clients will receive an e-mail with more information about this and how they can migrate to a KVM VPS (if they want to).
Client area
We’ve moved our client area to new URL: https://yourwebhoster.eu/login. We’ve decided to split our website and client area: it limited the features for the website and client area when we would put them together on one website. This means that we can focus with our website on the content and with the client area on you: the client.
Up-to-date information
Our old website didn’t have a CMS to edit a page. In a normal situation a WYSIWYG editor would be used to edit the html files but the system behind our website didn’t allow us to do that. This means that changing one word on one page would take a lot of time. We’ve solved this by using WordPress.
